Rally Rules

To bring us into line with all the other camping clubs, we have to issue a set of rally rules. These are often requested by the camp site owners, and we as a Club must strictly adhere to them.

ANY SITE RULES WILL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THE FOLLOWING CLUB RULES.

  1. If members wish to be sited adjacent to each other they should arrange to meet up outside the site so they arrive together, otherwise they will be sited on the next vacant pitch.

  2. The unit must be placed in a uniform way. This will be at the direction of the Rally Marshal, and to the wishes of the Site Owner.

  3. Excessive noise will not be tolerated after 11:00 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m.

  4. Radios, TV’s and cassette players should be played at a discrete level so as not to inconvenience your fellow campers. (Please see Rule 3).

  5. A Member will be responsible for their child / children’s behaviour. Any action taken by the Marshal for misbehaviour will be taken against the Member.

  6. Children under the age of 16 years must not be left on their own on the campsite.

  7. In inclement weather please keep vehicle movements to a minimum.

  8. Pets must be on a lead at all times and exercised off the site, or where facilities are provided. They should not be allowed to foul the campsite, but if they do, the owner is responsible for the cleaning of the area.

  9. Kites must not be flown over units or in the vicinity of units. Playing of ball games etc must be outside the unit lines. The blowing of soap bubbles must be away from units as the chemicals used can cause serious damage to the canvas.

  10. The area around your unit must be kept clean and tidy at all times.

  11. For safety reasons the twenty-foot rule will be implemented (where possible).

  12. A fire bucket containing water must be placed outside the unit in clear view, in case of fire.

  13. On a Rally a First Aid Outfit may or may not be available. It is advisable that each member carries a First Aid Outfit in his / her unit. The Rally Marshall due to possible legal implications will administer no First Aid.

  14. Use of generators shall be at the discretion of the marshal.

  15. The Play tent is a NO SMOKING AREA AT ALL TIMES.

  16. At the end of a Rally club members will endeavor to clean up the Rally field to the best of their ability. so that we leave it as we would wish to find it.

PLEASE NOTE: IF ANY CLUB MEMBER CONSTANTLY AND WILLFULLY BREAKS THE ABOVE RULES THEN THE CLUB MARSHAL/COMMITTEE MEMBER,  AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THE CLUB MEMBER, WILL HAVE NO CHOICE OTHER THAN TO ASK THE OFFENDING MEMBER TO LEAVE THE RALLY.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUND OF ANY FEES PAID IN THIS INSTANCE.
