Consort
1997
The Conway Consort is a bit of an enigma, insofar
as, like one or two other models, such as the slightly earlier Conway Aragon, it does not appear in any of
the Conway brochures of the time, nor have we been able to locate any paperwork
relating directly to it. The weights and dimensions currently included in this
guide are derived from a private sales advert, and have not, yet, been
independently verified.
It appears to have been produced for one year only
(1997) and would have sat alongside the Clipper, Phoenix, Cardale, Coniston and
Olympia models of the time. It was a mid range, four berth, model, and
included the standard rear mounted Conway kitchen unit, as standard. It was
available in the bottle green and light grey colour scheme of folding camper
sibling; the Challenger of that year. It appears to have come with a large sun
canopy, and zip in 1 metre extension section.
If anyone has any further information on this
model, and, particularly, any manuals or other paperwork, we would be very
glad to hear from you. For now, in the paperwork below we have included the
generic Conway manual and setup instructions, plus the Conway sales brochure
for that year, even though the Consort was not included therein.
We are grateful to Blue Sky Holdings for permission to reproduce the information above. www.blueskyholdings.co.uk
